Meal Planner is a small, invite-only app run by Jordan Williams. It's still being tested, so expect it to change. This page says plainly what happens to your information. We don't sell it, and there are no ads.
What's stored
Your name and email from Google sign-in, and what your household adds: members, dishes, recipes, ratings, plans, logged meals, shopping lists, pantry notes, stores, and photos. Other households can't see any of it. Photos are kept in private storage.
AI
When you ask the app to read a recipe, the link's page, text, or photos you gave it go to Anthropic, which runs the Claude AI, and the result comes back to you to check. Nothing goes to AI unless someone asks. We keep a record of each AI call for cost and errors, without the recipe.
What the app records as you use it
The app keeps a timeline of steps, like which pages you opened and that you logged a meal, so problems can be traced and fixed. It never records recipe text, dish or ingredient names, notes, list items, or what you wrote in feedback. Steps are kept for about 180 days.
What the admin can see
Jordan can see, across households: household names, counts such as how many dishes or meals, when a household was last active, AI cost, errors with the steps before them, feedback, and the approved email list. Jordan can't see other households' recipes, dishes, notes, or photos through the app. As the person running it, Jordan could reach stored data directly to fix a problem, and doesn't look at it otherwise.
Feedback
Feedback you send is saved, and copied to a private GitHub project along with your name, email, household, page, device type, and recent steps, so it can be worked on.
Who handles the data
Supabase stores the data, Vercel runs the app, Google handles sign-in, Anthropic runs the AI reads, and GitHub holds feedback.
Recipes and photos you add
Only add recipes and photos you're allowed to use. They stay private to your household.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account from the Household page. If you're the only person in your household, the household and everything in it are deleted, including photos. If you share it, the household stays with the others, including your ratings and meal history, and your name stays on its member list until someone there removes it.
Your email leaves the approved list. AI cost totals are kept with nothing identifying you. Feedback already copied to GitHub stays unless you ask for it to be removed.
